Here is the first of two new bowl forms finished as part of a new batch of work for the Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet of the Australian Federal government. In total the current batch should eventually number about 6 pieces of work.

The following three images are of Bowl #3. This part of the wood slab contained a rounded natural edge section and extreme wood figuring. It was in the vicinity of a branch of the original tree. I made use of the naturally curving lines and followed the natural edge along one side ... although opted not to use the actual edge but, instead, smoothed it off.
