I hate to see material getting wasted, especially high value woods like Australian Red Cedar. So, I quite often make really small bowl forms. This one is only about 10 inches in length but it has a really easy flowing form ... and great colour.
This is recycled wood from exterior wall cladding off an old train station. Judging by the deep colour, the tree must have been quite old when it was cut ... and the building is almost 100 years old.
